Chief Executive Officer
Scott has been with Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, since 1997 and was previously CEO / administrator at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Florence, South Carolina. He has served as CEO at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga since 2007. Scott graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. In 2002, he received a master’s degree in business administration from Francis Marion University with a certificate in health management from the Medical University of South Carolina. Scott’s community involvement has included serving as the chairman of the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk, a member of the Chancellor’s Roundtable at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a member of the Physical Therapy Program Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Medical Director
Dr. Munir is a board-certified physician with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a sub-specialty in pain medicine. He is also board-certified with the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. In addition to his work as a physiatrist, he is also a certified physical therapist. Dr. Munir completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and his doctorate of medicine was earned from Sind Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.
Amjad M. Munir, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Director of Therapy Operations
Theresa has been with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga, formerly HealthSouth Chattanooga, since 2003. She graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1996 and received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2000. Theresa's community service accomplishments include a two-year term on the Chattanooga Brain Injury Board as well as currently serving on the OTA Advisory Council for Virginia College. She has worked as an occupational therapist in several fields including inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient and school system settings.

Delilah has 32 years of nursing experience with 26 years in nursing management, including nurse manager, service line administrator and associate chief nursing officer. She has an associate's degree in nursing from Cleveland State College and a master's degree in health science from Jolliet, Illinois.

Teesha started with Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in October 2017. She has 11 years of human resources experience in the healthcare industry including hospice and critical access hospital. She graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2005 with her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She obtained her Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute in November 2015.
Controller
Karen has 16 years of healthcare experience. She began her career as a purchasing agent and then advanced to a staff accountant, where she managed expenses for the hospital and a surgery center. She received an associate's degree from Chattanooga State and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Covenant College.
Business Development Director
Stephanie has been with Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, since 1994 and with the Chattanooga hospital since 2008. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She received additional certification in the specialty of rehabilitation nursing in 1995 and recertified in 2009. Her 18 year nursing career has been in direct patient care within the ICU and rehabilitation setting, healthcare sales and administration.
Chief Nursing Officer
Janeen Rawlings has a total of 18 years of nursing experience, with ten years in critical care and emergency services and eight years in nursing management as a service line administrator, emergency services director and corporate director. She has certifications as an emergency room nurse (CEN) and trauma certified nurse (TCRN). Janeen graduated from Middle Tennessee State with her master’s degree in nursing administration and from the University of Texas at Tyler with her master’s degree in business administration. She is the past president of the Emergency Nurses Association for the Chattanooga area. She is also a current member of the Tennessee Hospital Association, Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society, ACHE and Tennessee Organization of Nurse Executives.
Director of Case Management
Sandra started with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga, formerly HealthSouth Chattanooga, in May 2018. She has 35 years of nursing experience with 21 of those years serving as a leader in nursing management. She originally graduated from Dalton State College in 1983 with her associate’s degree in nursing and obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2008. Sandra furthered her education in 2013 by obtaining a master’s degree in healthcare administration. She has also attained Certified Professional Healthcare Quality and Accredited Case Manager certifications. Throughout her career, Sandra has served in various healthcare management roles including director case management, chief nursing officer, clinical house supervisor, director clinical informatics and nurse manager.
